About the event
Have you been playing an active role supporting workers.coop? Come along to this policy co-creation meeting to input in the development of a volunteer policy for the federation. Your input is very valued.
Workers.coop is currently developing a Volunteer Agreement. We would love to hear about the experiences and view of our current volunteers, that is anyone who is playing an active role supporting workers.coop. This could be through being in a working group or taking on tasks and roles outside of working groups.
To this end we have set up a policy co-creation meeting on the 8 August, 12-13:30. Please note, this session was previously down for July but has been rescheduled to the new date of 8 August. Apologies for any inconveniences.
During this session we will explore the following question:
- What can workers.coop expect from volunteers?
- What do volunteers expect from workers.coop?
- What support do volunteers need?
- What happens if things go wrong? For example, if a volunteer breaches the Care and Accountability policy, or are repeatedly falling short of workers.coop’s expectations.
