About the event
Gathering of worker co-ops in Scotland
The 2024 Scotland-wide gathering of worker co-ops in Dundee brings together worker co-ops and other worker-led organisations with co-operative values and principles.
It's a day of discovering, learning, sharing and getting to know each other as we continue to create our supportive, informative and collaborative worker co-op community in Scotland.
Come along to:
- Get up-to-date on how worker co-ops fit into the current political environment in Scotland
- Find out what practical support Scotland's agencies can offer your co-op
- Discuss co-operative working challenges with other co-ops in a supportive environment
- Explore possibilities for worker co-op engagement with other movements
- Share your thoughts on how the environment for worker co-ops in Scotland can be improved
- Meet and get to know other worker co-ops
- Have an optional one to one session with a co-op adviser
The programme will be a blend of short, informative presentations with Q & As; workshops; peer learning; plenty of space for questions; ample networking opportunities; and a delicious vegan lunch.
It's free to attend and all worker co-ops, start-ups and anyone thinking of starting a co-op is welcome.
Solidarity guaranteed.
After you've registered you'll be invited to tell us about any topics you'd like included as part of peer learning, workshops and skills sharing.
You'll also be asked if you'd like to book a free one to one session with a co-op adviser. This is for anyone who'd like help or advice on any aspect of running, or setting up, a co-op.
Look out for the links, tell us what you'd like and help shape the event!
For the Post-event social sponsored by Dundee worker co-op Newfield Medical we'll head over to a venue nearby where we can have a drink and relax before heading home. The Social runs til 6pm and is open to all co-op friendly organisations and individuals so please feel free to invite along your local contacts.
