This is a Project Group for the 2024 Autumn Assembly.
Background
We are looking at holding the 2024 Autumn Assembly as a day event at the end of October (potential dates October 24/25/30/31 depending on venue availability), in Sheffield. Date/venue TBC.
Forming a project group
We are looking to set up a project group to design and organise the programme for the Autumn Assembly and bring together those who can drive it forward and set the agenda. The project group is a temporary working group formed around a specific project for the duration of that project.
We are looking for members and/or supporters to take ownership over the task of setting the programme and more generally the direction and what we want out of the event.
The Autumn Assembly is a valuable time to come together in person, reflect on how things have been going, celebrate successes and problem solve issues. As a member-driven federation we want this in person event to be driven by and reflect the needs of our co-op members and supporters.
Project group dates
These can be changed according to availability of those involved.
Friday 23 August 17:00-18:00 - drop in session for anyone interested, info on where we are now & what needs to be done
Thursday 5 September 17:00 - 18:00 - this meeting space will be set up by a paid worker but the content and direction of the meeting will be led by those attending (roughly a month and a half before the event takes place)
Thursday 3 October 17:00 - 18:00 - this meeting space will be set up by a paid worker but the content and direction of the meeting will be led by those attending (roughly three weeks before the event takes place)
