Had it with work? Autumn Assembly Social

About the event

Had enough of work? Come along to this evening social in Sheffield city centre.

As worker co-operators converge on Sheffield for the national workers.coop assembley, join them and other like-minded folk for this free evening social. It’s for anyone interested in worker power and mutual aid, whether you’re already in a workers’ co-op or only just heard of them! Bring along that friend who is always talking about their bad boss...

  • Where? Hagglers' Corner
  • When? From 6.30pm onwards
  • What? There will be food from about 7pm, a bar and a soundsystem we can use to play our own music.

We have booked the upstairs space to ourselves, which is large enough to seat 40 for a meal or 70 standing. You can see photos of the upstairs inside room here.

Music

The venue has a sound system, so bring along some playlists.

We are on the lookout for any DJs who want to play a set - get in touch at solidarity [at] workers.coop

Accessibility

At the moment, we don't have any attendees we know of with mobility accessibility requirements. For this reason the venue is only partly accessible. If you'd like to come along and have accessibility requirements get in touch so that we can make arrangements. The ground floor terrace is accessible and we can arrange as a group to eat or socialise downstairs.
